Erigeron (Fleabane) Oil, USA, (Erigeron canadensis), derived from leaves and tops of a plant grown in the northern and central United States.  Used in fruit and spice flavorings for beverages, ice cream, ices, candy, baked goods, and sauces.  

Medicinal Properties of Erigeron Canadensis, Erigeron (Fleabane) Oil, styptic, astringent, diuretic, tonic.  Excellent for cholera, dysentery, and summer complaint, especially for childern, when all other remedies fail.  In these affections, use also as an enema.  

Homeopathic Uses:  Erigeron canadensis is used for bleeding of the bladder, hemorrhoids, menorrhagia and metorrhagia, gastritis, and cholecystitis precautions and adverse reactions Health risks or side effects following the proper administration of designated therapeutic dosages are not recorded. 

Erigeron (Fleabane) Oil, USA is water white to pale yellow colored oil presents a sweet fresh spicy basil like top note.  The base notes are winey herbaceous and sweet like powdered Licorice.  Erigeron oil resembles Moroccan Chamomile with a Verbena freshness and an ethereal ambra like undertone.

Erigeron oil is used in perfumes, perhaps because of its complexity and amazing tenacity.

Erigeron essential oil blends well with Cardamom, Cilantro, Coriander and Citrus oils adding enigmatic nuances.

Erigeron essential oil is produced almost exclusively from wild plants in the USA.  Erigeron is commonly referred to as Fleabane and Mare's Tail.

Our warehouse is one of the only suppliers of this oil.  Beware buying foreign productions of this item.  Although it grows in other temperate climates it is seldom commerically produced outside of the Unoted States.  Author and chemist Steffen Arctander warns that Erigeron oil sold in Europe is often adulterated.
