AEO newest Basil offering grown on small farms in Nepal. It is herbal peppery and penetrating with faint woody notes. The Ayurvedic traditionalists would probably prefer this essential oil over the U.S.A Basil since the American material evolved more for culinary rather than therapuetic function, although scientifically speaking the therapuetic values should be about the same. This material was harvested and distilled in Nepal and is more likely applied to Ayurvedic tradition than any other use.
