Cypress Essential Oil, Crete, (Cupressus sempervirens), obtained through steam distillation of young twigs, stems and needles. The essential oils extracted from Cypress contain compounds like Alpha Pinene, Beta Pinene, Alpha Terpinene, Bornyl Acetate, Carene, Camphene, Cedrol, Cadinene, Sabinene, Myrcene, Terpinolene and Linalool, that count for medicinal properties. The Essential Oils from this tree can save you from some really nasty ailments.
Cypress Essential Oil, Crete is a mobile liquid with a sweet-balsamic scent slightly similar to pine, templin, juniper berry, and cardamom without olfactory traces of cineole. The low notes are lasting and sweet with ambra characteristics. These complexities have resulted in Cypress being used to enhance pine oil and blends using pine oil. Labdanum products work well in blends with Cypress.
